What is a lash lift?
Also known as a lash perm, this semi-permanent process curls your eyelashes without messy, high-maintenance, and uncomfortable tools and techniques (such as eyelash curlers and extensions). It promotes natural results and enhancement that aligns attractively with your unique facial features. Keratin is our solution or serum to support successful lash lift treatment.
What is keratin? And why do you use it?
Keratin is a natural ingredient. It is found in the hair, nails, and the outermost epidermis layer of the skin. In addition to its safety, keratin is a great component of lash lift treatment due to its powerhouse properties; for instance, keratin is often integrated into hair treatments and products to strengthen strands, reduce frizz, and improve overall hair quality and appearance. This protein generally plays a supportive and protective role, which helps to keep the hair and nails healthy and strong.
What can I expect from treatment?
The lash lift is generally a two-step process, whereby our keratin-infused solution is first applied to lift the lashes from the roots. Then, as an add-on treatment, a darker semi-permanent pigment is used to get the mascara look without mascara. Before applying the keratin solution, you must remove your contacts, and we ensure you start with a “clean slate” and that there is no lingering makeup or oils on the eyelids and lashes. The solution works similarly to a perm for the hair by breaking up the bonds in your lashes to reshape them. The process may be repeated to achieve the desired shape or projection as needed. Tinting completes the look.
Is there anything special I need to do afterward?
We will advise on everything to expect before, during, and after the process. For instance, we ask that you not shower or get your lashes wet in any way for the first 24 hours. Be careful with steam and humidity, too.
How long do the results last?
