Are you accepting new patients?
Yes! We welcome new patients. During your first visit, you can expect to complete some paperwork so we can get to know you and better understand your needs. Also, be prepared to discuss things like your health, any vitamins and medications that you may take, allergies, lifestyle habits, skin care routine/products, and any specific concerns or symptoms that may have brought you to our medical spa.
What is the difference between a spa and a medical spa?
At Pua Manu MedSpa, you can expect the relaxing services available at traditional spas. However, we go above and beyond as a medical spa. In part, our team is led by a highly qualified specialist with a special interest in skin rejuvenation. The quality and safety of every service is supported by our licensed medical professionals who provide advanced, medical-grade treatments for specific aesthetic and wellness-oriented concerns.
Are medical spa services expensive?
Our care offers numerous benefits to you and represents a great value and investment in yourself/your self-care. Generally, services categorized as “elective” or “cosmetic” are typically not covered by health insurance. However, if a treatment is deemed “medically necessary,” there may be some coverage available, though this depends on the specifics of your insurance plan. Please note that Pua Manu MedSpa operates on a self-pay basis and does not accept health insurance for our treatments.
What payment plans do you offer?
We encourage patients to maintain the professional care that supports their most attractive look and overall wellness. We do so by making care as easy, affordable, and accessible as possible, with options like financing through CareCredit and Cherry.
Can I get results right away?
We offer a range of aesthetic and wellness procedures. These procedures vary in terms of what they treat, how they address concerns, associated risks, downtime, pre-treatment and post-treatment considerations, and more. In general, since we offer so many alternatives to surgical, invasive, and aggressive procedures, many of our services support immediate improvements. These improvements continue to get better over time. They also require minimal preparation and recovery, because they are generally not invasive. For instance, with some facial services, you can get an instant boost in your “glow.” As changes are stimulated deep within the skin, you’ll notice that loose areas look tighter and wrinkles appear softer as the weeks and months pass by.
