What is the AGNES treatment, and how does it work?
AGNES is an acne treatment that is just one of several acne solutions available at our practice. This radiofrequency ablation treatment uses radiofrequency, or RF, energy that penetrates the skin and directly targets the sebaceous glands responsible for oil production on the skin. The glands shrink and no longer produce sebum. Sebum is the primary reason for acne development on the skin. By minimizing and even eliminating sebum production on the face, patients can combat clogged pores and oily skin and effectively reduce the number of flare-ups or breakouts they experience compared to prior treatments. This is considered one of the most effective and reliable methods of treating acne today!
Who is a good candidate for the AGNES acne treatment?
