What is TempSure®?
TempSure® is a form of nonsurgical skin tightening. It uses RF (radiofrequency) energy to tighten wrinkled, lined, and lax skin. It is best used on the face, but may also be used on parts of the body (such as to treat the dimples of cellulite on the arms or legs).
What is RF?
RF is the energy that is delivered to your targeted areas/treatment sites. RF generates controlled heating. This heat is then responsible for neocollagenesis, which is simply the medical term for the production of new collagen. This protein is responsible for skin’s firmness. Our bodies make this structural component of the skin naturally; however, with time, its production declines. When this happens, we may notice that our facial contours no longer look as defined. Wrinkles may look more pronounced, and skin on the neck may sag. New collagen helps to fill in depressions – from folds to cellulite – and to plump up and tighten lax, poorly-defined areas.
How is it applied?
Our providers use special applicators to deliver RF/heating. It is uniquely designed to evenly heat areas, which helps to support comfort and also to minimize the risk of damage to the skin. What can I expect after treatment?
Treatment can be completed in around 30 to 60 minutes (total time depends on the number of size of the areas to be treated). And you can get on your way and back to your busy schedule with no downtime. There is nothing to recover from, due to the non-invasive nature of this technology. Now, you just need to look forward to your increasingly tighter skin and more contoured physique! The results get better over time and as more collagen is produced.
