Agnes RF is a great option to improve the appearance and texture of your “trouble spots.” A few possibilities include: 

• Under the eyes – Until Agnes RF, nonsurgical options to treat under-eye bags were limited. We can effectively remove fat and tighten skin in this delicate area by using RF energy to heat the tissue. This process melts the fat pads and triggers collagen production to firm wrinkled or saggy skin.
  
• The jawline and chin – Due to its collagen-boosting and fat-busting capabilities, Agnes RF is appropriate for both tightening loose skin along the jaw and treating jowls, as well as for eliminating fat in the “submental area” (double chin).

As a nonsurgical procedure, Agnes RF is tolerated well and allows you to get back to your schedule and lifestyle faster than more aggressive treatment alternatives (such as blepharoplasty or an “eye lift”). Treatment generally starts with one of our providers cleansing the marked areas to be treated. Agnes RF is often performed with a numbing cream for your comfort. After the cream has taken effect, the microneedles are inserted, and RF energy is delivered to the target areas. Most of our patients report a warm sensation and pressure as treatment progresses. You should feel little to no discomfort. Aftercare and downtime depend on factors such as the intensity of treatment and the sites treated. For instance, the areas under the eyes are delicate and may be more prone to persistent swelling and bruising. To support fast healing, be sure to follow all instructions provided by our team, which may include activity/exercise restrictions and skincare recommendations.

It’s possible to see some immediate improvements; however, many of the changes triggered by Agnes RF take time to yield significant or complete results. Remember, this treatment is rebuilding your skin from within. As fat cells are eliminated and collagen is produced, you will notice smoother, tighter, more lifted skin in the weeks following treatment. Agnes RF is generally a long-lasting solution for stubborn fat, as treated cells won’t return. Other age-related conditions may require maintenance treatments because, while we can hit the reset button on aging, we can’t stop the clock entirely.
